Commercial Analyst / Business Performance Analyst (Part-time) Westcool (WA) Pty Ltd was formed in 2016 to provide HVAC & Refrigeration services. We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Commercial Analyst / Business Performance Analyst to support our leadership team in improving financial performance, efficiency, and profitability across all areas of the business — including Service, Minor Works, Project Installations, and Administration About the Role In this hands‑on role, you’ll analyse business performance, prepare reports, and provide insights that guide smarter, data‑driven decisions. You’ll partner with managers and finance teams to monitor budgets, identify trends, and recommend improvements that enhance both operational and financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Develop and track departmental budgets and forecasts. Analyse actual vs. budget performance, margins, and labour productivity. Monitor job costing for service, minor works, and project installations. Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective actions. Prepare monthly management and KPI reports. Improve data accuracy, reporting processes, and system utilisation (e.g. Uptick). Skills & Experience Background in financial analysis, commercial management, or business performance (construction, HVAC, or trade‑based industry preferred). Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Strong understanding of job costing, margin analysis, and budgeting. Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis. Experience with job management systems (Uptick, SimPRO, AroFlo, Pronto, etc.). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with HVAC operations and project workflows would be an advantage. Personal Attributes Commercially astute, analytical, and detail‑oriented.
