Accounts Payable Officer

This is an exciting ownership role which is critical to our global travel operations. More than just processing invoices you will be the owner of our central Accounts Payable function. You will be key to the operational success of the function, maintaining our reputation with merchants around the world. Your efficiency ensures critical services and bookings are paid for, making you a vital contributor to our customers' experience. You will be responsible for managing critical payment timelines, ensuring these are seamless and carried out with precision. Organisational Structure This role will report into the Accounts Payable and Accounting Operations Manager. This role is working in a small team. A Day in the Life Execute the end to end accounts payable process, including accurate data entry and reconciling both merchant and supplier invoices in our financial system Prepare and make precise payments, adhering to strict timelines, in various global currencies Take full ownership of the Accounts payable inbox , acting as the main POC for all invoice related queries Investigating and resolving discrepancies related to travel booking payments promptly To be a Front Running Candidate Previous experience working in a finance or accounting environment, with proven experience with processing high volume, end to end payments Exceptional attention to detail; the ability to be highly organised, prioritise and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously; and maintain accuracy throughout Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for analysis and reporting A strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently, completing tasks and resolving complex payment queries in a calm manner Strong communication skills to work in a team, maintaining relationships both with internal stakeholders and global businesses. Prior experience with Salesforce would be a bonus Why TripADeal?
