OverviewSusquehanna is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Post Trade technology team who are responsible for processing and storing all trading activity across the APAC region. This team builds applications used to reconcile Prime Broker data, produce valuations / P&L, provide services used in critical business processes and generate reporting across the firm.The successful candidate should have a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing client/server applications using C# and Oracle, being equally adept in either one. Taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release. Collaborating closely with core development/engineering teams to provide data and services to the business.
What you can expect from us:Real Impact: By integrating sophisticated coding techniques with innovative engineering ideas, we design and optimize systems that process massive amounts of data while still ensuring high performance and stability.Collaboration: You will work closely with Trading, Middle-office, Operations and Compliance to make data available to support their applications and processes. In addition, you will work with groups such as Connectivity, Risk and Core Trading technology on delivering strategic projects.Growth: For many of our roles, we don't expect you to have prior industry experience in proprietary trading or financial services to succeed at Susquehanna International Group. What we're looking for:
5+ years of experience in software development (Oracle and C#)
An excellent understanding of Database design allied with a knowledge of Object-oriented programming.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
Working with very large datasets / Hadoop
Python
NoSQL databases
Messaging technologies / Kafka
