Your Next Opportunity We’re on the lookout for a Cook to join our team at our V-Wall Pavilion, Nambucca Heads Holidays site. This is a casual position with opportunity to pick up additional hours during peak seasons. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Area Manager, you’ll play a key role in preparing and presenting high‑quality meals using fresh and local ingredients, helping us deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and residents, and having fun while doing it The V‑Wall Pavilion is nestled along the scenic waterfront of Nambucca Heads, offering a laid‑back coastal lifestyle with stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for casual dining and family gatherings. Manage stock efficiently; ordering, receiving, and rotating to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards. Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, including equipment and surfaces. Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and productive environment. Follow all WHS and food safety procedures, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record‑keeping. You’re Likely a Match If You Have previous food safety training and a solid understanding of HACCP principles. Have experience in food preparation and cooking, with strong communication and basic budgeting skills. Are a proactive, respectful team player who takes feedback well and contributes to a positive work culture. Have the ability to manage time effectively, stay calm under pressure, and maintain high standards. Are comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and using kitchen equipment safely with PPE.
