Pharmacy Assistant - Stock Controller - Full Time This is an exciting opportunity to join Balwyn North Discount Drug Store as a full-time Pharmacy Assistant - Stock Controller. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy and maintaining high levels of stock control. This position is based in our Balwyn North, VIC. What you’ll be doing Accurately processing and managing pharmacy stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, such as customer service, medication dispensing, and general administrative tasks Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and standards Providing excellent customer service to patients and liaising with other healthcare professionals Participating in regular stock takes and reporting on inventory status Supporting the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager in various duties as required What we’re looking for Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar stock control or customer service role within the healthcare industry Minimum 6-12 months of pharmacy assistant experience is required Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment A commitment to providing high-quality customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, procedures, and stock management best practices Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office applications Experience with LOTS/FRED is highly preferable Work visa status is acceptable for this position What we offer At Balwyn North Discount Drug Store, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment where our employees can thrive.
