Your Role as Manager- Team Culture & Operational Improvement This leadership role is responsible for driving cultural uplift, team cohesion and operational effectiveness across frontline operational teams, including drivers, depot staff and the Operational Control Centre (OCC). The focus is on improving collaboration, standardising processes, strengthening communication and building a high-performing team environment. About the Role This role is suited to a leader who has successfully managed frontline or high-based teams and has a strong background in change management, team leadership, and process improvement. Technical bus or transport experience is preferred, not necessary Key Responsibilities Lead cultural and behavioural change initiatives across frontline operational teams Build a cohesive, collaborative and high-performing team culture Strengthen leadership capability across supervisors and team leaders Implement and improve processes, workflows and communication channels Support change adoption and manage resistance across diverse personality types Improve team engagement, accountability and performance standards Lead operational improvement projects from planning through to implementation Promote consistent practices across depots, shifts and the OCC Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery Champion safety, compliance and continuous improvement across all operational activities About You Proven experience leading frontline, blue-collar, or site-based operational teams Strong change management capability with experience driving cultural and behavioural uplift Confident, assertive and resilient leadership style Ability to build relationships quickly and influence diverse personality types Experienced in managing conflict, resolving issues and improving communication Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a process-driven mindset Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure operational environments Strategic thinker with the ability to execute practical, on-the-ground solutions Experience across industries such as transport, logistics, aviation, manufacturing, utilities or similar environments is highly regarded Why CDC NSW?
