Teacher - Aboriginal Languages Department of Education, Western Australia Permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026. The Role The successful applicant will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and the wider community. They will deliver high‑quality, engaging Aboriginal language programs, promote cultural understanding, embed Aboriginal perspectives, histories, and practices into the curriculum, and support the school’s reconciliation journey. Key responsibilities include: Design and implement culturally respectful and authentic Aboriginal language teaching. Collaborate with Aboriginal families, Elders, and community members. Integrate language learning with broader curriculum pathways. Contribute to the department’s reconciliation objectives and promote truth‑telling, respect and equity.
