Midweight Designer – Design Agency

The Company Our client is a privately owned design agency who specialise in events. This is a small yet highly effective team comprising of seven people however they scale up with contractors when needed. They are looking for a midweight graphic designer to join the team to replace someone who is moving on due to career progression. We are seeking a talented designer who has at least four to five years industry experience. While experience in events is not essential it would certainly be beneficial or at the very least an interest in events. There is a senior designer who works for them interstate but this is the sole designer in the Sydney team. This role would suit a designer who has the ability to be conceptual but also equally happy to do roll out of a large event across all touch points. The role would be a mix of both. A positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential and someone who enjoys working at pace during busy periods. You would need to be highly proficient across the Adobe Creative Suite. If you have any experience in 3D software that would be a bonus or if not open to being trained. The company work with a range of clients. They have an office on the city fringe and they work a hybrid model. Someone who is able to work independently is essential. We are looking for someone who can start the second or third week in January. Key Skills Minimum of 4-5 years of industry experience Experience in events, exhibitions or conferences would be ideal but not essential Ability to work from concept through to completion across print, digital and social media Highly proficient across the Adobe Creative Suite Experience in 3D software is a bonus or happy to be trained up.
