Relief Coordinator – City of Parramatta Job Description The City of Parramatta is going through unprecedented change and transformation as we grow and transform into a Global City. About the Role As the Relief Coordinator you will assist the Supervisor in the coordination, direction, and monitoring of staff and works to achieve cost‑effective and quality work outcomes for council. On a daily basis you will: Lead field based operational employees and contractors to deliver cleansing services Assist in relief duties for planned and unplanned staff/operator absences Completion of all necessary administration functions What’s On Offer Permanent Full‑time, Monday to Friday 2:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. We are offering an attractive weekly remuneration from $1,498 plus 12% superannuation. Additional benefits include: 9‑Day Fortnight Significant leave benefits: 3 additional leave days at Christmas, 15 days sick/personal leave including 2 days health and wellbeing leave per year Uniform provided 14 weeks paid parental leave Free onsite parking & onsite gym Access to long service leave after 5 years Learning and development opportunities Health and wellbeing programs About You The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in a similar role with proven experience successfully leading a team. You will have previous experience with the operation of specialist plant equipment including mechanical street sweepers, garbage compactors, and pressure cleaning units. Qualifications Current MR NSW Drivers Licence Current traffic controller (Blue, Yellow) White Card Certificate IV in frontline management or willingness to attain Further Information Further information regarding the requirements of this role can be found in the attached Position Description.
