We are on the lookout for a motivated and committed Project Manager to join our diverse Project Management team based in Dandenong South. About us Safer Storage Systems has been providing industrial pallet racking and shelving solutions for warehouses and retailers throughout Australia for over 19 years. We are the exclusive Australian Supplier of the Gonvarri Material Handling network of brands. In the past few years, our business has grown exponentially as we began manufacturing our own Australian Made Silverline pallet racking range in our Dandenong South facility. Our Silverline racking is of the highest quality and is the most sustainable racking in the Australian market – cutting down on CO2 emissions by more than 85% from comparable international sources. Our business expansion this year has brought in exciting new developments in the pallet racking automation space. Our partnership with Gonvarri Material Handling has enabled us to supply our customers with the most highly efficient picking and packing automatic and semi-automatic storage systems. What does the job look like? Analyse Project Scope requirements, create a pre-sale project plan and installation budget for project delivery. Develop, trial, and implement project specific construction methods to improve project timelines and costs. Project management of Retail and General Sales Projects. Complete customer signoff completion certificates upon completion of projects. Issue post sale project plan to key stakeholders and hold all to account for successful project implementation. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Ensure OH&S & SHSMP compliance for on-site works. Monitor, track, and communicate project milestones with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, to Specification and within budget. Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline. Manage Project Scope changes. Coordinate Customer Handover, this could include facilitating any on-site training, documentation share and sign off certification. Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved. Comply with all Safer Storage System’s policies, Management Guidelines and procedures including Workplace Health and Safety requirements and code of conduct. Who are we ideally searching for? Someone with project management experience. Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to deal with people in a courteous and professional manner. Safety focused. Great team working skills. Construction card (white card) holder (or be willing to obtain). The position is full time from Monday to Friday, with the hours being 8am to 4.30pm.
