You will find yourself contributing to the successful delivery of projects within the Melbourne – Occupational Hygiene & Hazardous Materials team.The work will be diverse and challenging, which will include:
Provision of technical advice on Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and Occupational Hygiene issues;Supervision of Asbestos/HAZMAT removal;Project Management including client liaison, preparation of quotes and tenders;Asbestos airborne fibre monitoring and fibre counting;Asbestos bulk sample identification;Conducting workplace exposure monitoring and assessment works;Conducting Asbestos/HAZMAT Surveys; andPreparation of technical reports.Regional travel will be required.Along with a tertiary qualification in Science, Occupational hygiene, Occupational health and safety, Building, Construction,
Environmental
Health or relevant industry experience, the successful applicant will have a valid driver’s licence, strong written and verbal communication skills along with a passion for development and collaboration.
