About the position This is an executive-level opportunity as our organisation continues its expansion across ANZ. The impact this role provides will be critical to our strategic success. The position involves leading and developing a team of IT professionals, designing and implementing IT strategies and shaping the digital future of our market leading, progressive services business across Australia and New Zealand. This role is paramount in ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems, collaborating with various depts. to align IT initiatives with our business goals. We are consolidating functions to guide the future of our organisation, which is currently heavily reliant upon a proprietary operating platform. The day-to-day focus of this role will be to drive the growth and success of the IT division, while introducing innovation, systems and processes that will assist in directing the businesses future success. As our Head of Information and Technology you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing our information technology infrastructure, operations, and security. To consolidate our business, we are seeking to maximize the systems we have through better education, training, optimisation, and user acceptance, whilst ensuring the heart of the business is brought into a single ERP. Key duties & responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the company’s ERP and technology strategy, aligned with commercial and operational goals. Manage the IT budget, including identifying cost savings and optimization opportunities. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. Monitor, maintain and optimize the current IT infrastructure, networks, cloud, cyber security & end-user computing. Lead a team of IT professionals to manage, deliver & support the IT environment. Keep up to date with latest technology trends & best practices, and recommend new technologies and approaches that can improve the company’s IT operations. Work with the various business teams to capture, manage and deliver business system requirements utilizing the local resources, global resources and external resources as required. Provide support & ownership of incidents impacting CMC/Monitoring operations. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in systems, processes, and service delivery. Ensure the scalability, performance, and usability of business platforms and integrations. About You Minimum 5 years' experience in senior technology leadership roles, with proven experience managing and developing people. A background in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) and their business impact. Demonstrated success in leading high-performing, people-centric teams. Track record of delivering technology strategies that enable business transformation and innovation. Strong commercial acumen and experience influencing stakeholders at C-suite level. Hands-on leadership style, with the ability to balance strategic direction with day-to-day delivery. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology). Networking: Proficient in networking to establish and nurture relationships. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills with proven experience managing projects on time and on budget. Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans that align with the overall business objectives. Strong infrastructure background (servers, storage, virtualization – Hyper-V and VMware). Technical experience with M365, AWS and Networks. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, create compelling proposals, and build and maintain relationships. Practical understanding and experience in managing local and wide area network environments including complex security configurations and VPN technologies.
