Quality Assurance Consultant

The Quality Assurance Consultant is involved in the provision of high quality, factually accurate and timely medico-legal reports.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Undertake quality assurance reviews of medico-legal reports in line with quality framework and relevant regulations and legislationBuilding sustainable relationships, connections and trust with customers and medical experts through open and interactive communicationWork collaboratively with team members to ensure prioritisation of workflowProvide feedback and training for medical experts on medico-legal report writingResolve emerging problems & handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, follow ups to ensure resolution, customer record interactions and escalationWe are seeking a person who has strong self-motivation, has the ability to work independentlyand within a team environment. Someone who has strong leadership, follow up, organisation and prioritisation skills and excellent attention to detail.This is a full-time position.Qualifications
Experience or qualifications in allied health, legal or insurance industries, ideally with experience in interpreting medico-legal reports – highly regardedExperience in utilising the AMA Guides and WorkCover Guides for assessing permanent impairment and disability assessments is desirable.High level of written and verbal communication skillsGood computer skills, particularly with Microsoft OfficeAdditional Information
