Exciting opportunity to join ABC's premier TV gardening program Base salary $88k - $94k pro rata +15.4% ABC Nominated Super Contract position for approximately 6 months with potential for extension Full-time hours The Role We are seeking expressions of interest from passionate horticultural researchers and communicators to work on Gardening Australia. Working within the research team you will develop and deliver innovative gardening content across Australia. Gardening Australia provides practical, realistic, and credible horticultural and gardening advice, inspiring and entertaining all Australian gardeners around the nation. Presented by Australia's leading horticultural experts, Gardening Australia is a valuable resource to all gardeners through the television program and extensive online content. We are looking for storytellers with excellent writing skills, with a horticultural qualification or equivalent experience. You'll have high level research and writing skills for fast turn-around production. You'll have demonstrated experience in generating and communicating content ideas and opportunities relevant to horticulture, plants and gardening, as well as proven ability to communicate potential story content concisely to various parties across different knowledge levels. *** As the ability to write well is a prerequisite in this role, please attach a cover letter, addressing how you will apply your extensive horticulture/gardening experience to this Researcher role.
