We are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the team and play a key role in building scalable data pipelines, modernising data platforms and enabling advanced analytics across the business. What you will be doing Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple data sources Work with cloud-based data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) to support enterprise-level data processing Develop and optimise data models and storage solutions for analytics and reporting Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and healthcare domain experts Ensure data quality, compliance, security, and governance within a regulated healthcare environment Support ongoing enhancements to the organisation’s data architecture What we are looking for Strong experience with SQL and one or more programming languages (Python preferred) Hands‑on experience with cloud data services (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, GCP BigQuery, etc.) Experience building and managing data pipelines using modern tools (Databricks, Spark, Airflow, etc.) Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Kimball, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, etc.) Experience working with healthcare data (FHIR, HL7, EMR/EHR systems) highly desirable Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams Why join Milestone IT?
