Storeperson (Multiple positions based at Derrimut) HSV was established on 1 January 2021 as a commercially oriented independent provider of supply chain, procurement and corporate shared services to Victoria’s public health sector. HSV’s purpose is to partner with Victoria’s public health services and suppliers to support better value for the public health sector and better outcomes for their patients. Our focus is on the end-to-end supply chain needs of health services, including operating the State Supply Chain, to ensure Victoria’s public health services have access to goods that may be in higher demand or difficult to access. Under the Health Services Act 1988 (Vic), we administer compliance-related functions, and work with health services to assist them in meeting compliance and probity obligations. About the Role We are currently recruiting for six (6) Storeperson roles and one (1) Driver role , all based at our Derrimut Distribution Centre . These roles play a critical part in ensuring that the right products reach the right health facilities at the right time. Key duties include receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching stock, as well as delivering goods to customers across Melbourne (Driver). You will also help maintain safe warehouse operations and uphold HSV’s values when interacting with customers. Key Accountabilities Receiving and putting stock away into correct storage locations Picking and packing goods for dispatch Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Delivering stock to health service sites (Driver) Completing documentation including proof of delivery Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across vehicles and DC areas Participating in weekly cycle counts and annual stocktakes Reporting hazards, incidents, and equipment defects promptly Upholding HSV values and providing excellent customer service About You Previous warehouse, Distribution Centre or logistics experience is desirable Understanding of safe manual handling and OH&S requirements Ability to read SKU numbers and follow storage location processes Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Medium Rigid (MR) licence (for Driver role) What HSV can offer you Salary packaging 4 weeks of annual leave plus 13 Accrued Days Off Annual Leave loading of 17.5% We're actively reviewing applications as they come in and selecting candidates for further consideration.
