Dare to be different, push yourself to exceed.Work in a team where service is at the heart of all that we do.Lead a dynamic team to deliver quality automation projectsAbout us360 Engineering is determined to be different.We were born out of a desire to revolutionise automation across a range of industries; primarily water/wastewater but also food & beverage, oil and gas, manufacturing and mining.We stand out from our competitors by pairing leading-edge technology with good old-fashioned customer service. We pride ourselves on being nimble, efficient and on getting great results for our clients, whilst having fun along the way.The OpportunityDue to ongoing growth, 360 Engineering is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Brisbane team.Working closely with staff, clients and reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in maintaining the high delivery standards for which 360 Engineering is known, whilst contributing directly to the growth and strategy of the company.Managing the project delivery, client support and sales functions of the Queensland portfolio, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the Queensland team, including:Resource management and team leadershipMentoring and professional developmentProject management and overall project oversightTechnical leadershipClient relationship managementQuality systemsYou will have the opportunity to work with industry leading technologies; leading the team in designing, programming, testing, commissioning and supporting SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI and telemetry systems as well as their supporting electrical infrastructure.You will be working with the support of an experienced, enthusiastic and tight-knit team across the 360 Engineering organisation, including our Principal Engineer and relevant discipline technical specialists.The role will include moderate amounts of domestic travel to attend client sites.About YouWe are looking for someone with experience in a similar leadership role within an industrial automation organisation, with a work history of at least 10 years of total experience within the industry.You will have an intimate knowledge of all stages of the project lifecycle and a strong grasp of the technical concepts of the systems we deliver, with the ability to converse confidently with clients to provide high-level technical solutions and advice.You will be passionate about proactively maintaining client relationships and maximising the value of our offerings to them.You will have demonstrable experience in collaborative leadership and implementation of efficient work processes.We would ideally be looking for someone with direct experience in delivering industrial automation and telemetry systems experience in the Water/Wastewater sector.You will preferably have a background with some of the following technologies and concepts:SCADA, PLCs, RTU and HMIsTelemetry networksElectrical DesignOT Cyber securityFinally, you'll take genuine pride in your work, with good attention to detail, a sense of initiative and a 'can-do' attitude.Why work for usThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading automation solutions provider that's bringing the automation industry into the future. Mixing innovative technology with a down-to-earth atmosphere, we eschew the traditional "suit and tie" office to provide a more casual and easy-going working environment, allowing our team to focus on what actually matters - delivering quality work, backed by quality customer service.We believe in developing our people and provide solid training for all of our team and an environment that both encourages and supports ongoing learning opportunities.As well as providing tools of the trade, we also provide recognition and appreciation for your contribution through competitive remuneration packages, development opportunities and long-term career opportunities.Please provide your resume and a cover letter with your submission.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
