Senior Electrical Engineer – Project Technical Engineering Experienced Professional Join to apply for the Senior Electrical Engineer – Project Technical Engineering Experienced Professional role at Hitachi Energy You will lead the Engineering function for all Power Quality opportunities and projects, particularly Synchronous Condenser projects across ANZ. Technology, application and Engineering lead for project and tendering activities for all Operating unit market offerings. Consult with and influence customers, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders on the application, innovation, and benefits of the company’s technology offering. Ensures that appropriate technology and application thereof in all engineering disciplines and ensures that all engineering discipline activities within tendering and operations team are implemented, in accordance with standard solution offerings, contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. How You Will Make An Impact You will provide specialist technology and/or industry knowledge to build credibility and influence with clients, provide solution configuration expertise and identify opportunities for customers to derive value from the use of the company’s products and technology, define/contribute to the determination of technology, delivery model and statement of works for tenders and projects, liaise at senior technical level, consult within the business and process engineering solutions to meet customer needs. You will function as a technology authority for engineering deliverables in all applicable engineering disciplines, ensure that engineering solutions are developed with complete information, evaluate, select, and adapt products techniques, procedures, and criteria. You will collaborate with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeking feedback and innovation with the customer to drive and deliver improvements, attend projects meetings, and present all technical aspects of projects assignments, contribute to the implementation project both as SME and solution configuration specialist through the project phases. You will ensure that engineering is developed with complete information and that all multidisciplinary information has been included in the engineering development, lead development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges, drive completion of all engineering activities on the project, act as a design authority for engineering deliverables in all applicable engineering disciplines, may act as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completes engineering assignments for that discipline, coordinate design with consortium partners. You will provide technical support to Project Managers, collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, clarify potential issues, or provide solutions to correct engineering errors, provide technical support to commissioning and start‑up activities. Your Background You hold an Engineering Degree (Bachelor) with appropriate experience in the High Voltage industry. Minimum 15years experience in High Voltage Utility/Renewables sector or similar related industry. Registered or eligible for CPENG and RPEQ. Proficient with MS Word, Excel. Proficient in English communication.
