Benefits Rostered days off Flexible work arrangements Salary packaging program Opportunity We have an opportunity for a detail‑oriented individual who will undertake an undergraduate qualification in business (or related discipline) and practically apply learning through a variety of services within Council’s Organisational Services Directorate, specifically relating to traditional human resources, corporate services and information and technology and emerging digital service delivery. As a Business Administration Cadet, you will apply theoretical learnings to workplace activities in order to reinforce learning at an undergraduate level. You will provide support concerning the implementation of council policies, procedures and planning framework whilst undertaking secretarial and administrative tasks relating to activities and projects for the Organisational Services directorate. About You Eligibility for entrance into degree level study in Human Resource Management and completion of the Higher School Certificate (or equivalent). Demonstrated interest in business administration or human resource management. Willingness to learn and apply analytical skills developed through academic studies. Experience working in or being part of a team. Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Remuneration & Additional Benefits This fixed‑term, full‑time position (35 hours per week for six years) commences at $55,194.05 gross per annum. The package includes: $947.70 per week base salary $113.72 per week superannuation (12%) Annual salary increases and performance reviews Salary packaging program (SmartSalary) Wellbeing initiatives – Fitness Passport, Employee Assistance Program, Telus Health App, social club, health monitoring and annual flu vaccinations.
