We offer a range of employment benefits to support our staff, which may include: Rostered days off Flexible work arrangements Salary packaging The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a collaborative individual to support core human resources and administrative functions to ensure effective workforce management aligned with Council policies, procedures and strategic goals. As a People and Culture Officer, you will support Council’s recruitment and selection processes, ensuring new starters are effectively onboarded and inducted into the organisation along with supporting performance management, award interpretation, grievances, workplace investigations, and employee exits. You will administer Council’s trainee, apprentice, cadet, and work placement and experience programs to support succession planning, local talent development, and alignment with strategic workforce goals and funding initiatives. About You We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate IV Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent and two (2) years' recent relevant experience. You will have the following skills and experience: Demonstrated skills and experience working in recruitment and /or learning and development Proven experience delivering prompt high level customer service in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Office, Human Resources Information Systems, Learning Management Systems and Records Management Systems. Good written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders and ability to maintain confidentiality where necessary. Benefits This is a fixed term, full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of twelve (12) months. The total remuneration package for this position commences at $83,725.82gross per annum, comprising of: $1,437.60per week base salary $172.51per week superannuation (calculated at 12%) Additional benefits for this position include: Rostered day off scheme (nine day fortnight) Annual Award salary increases and performance reviews Salary packaging program (SmartSalary) Wellbeing Initiatives – Fitness Passport, Employee Assistance Program, Telus Health App, social club, health monitoring and annual flu vaccinations.
