The Opportunity You will be responsible for compiling annual staff training plans and ensuring the highest priority training is provided within budget. You will identify, coordinate and deliver a range of training initiatives and programs to meet the development needs of all council staff, covering strategic and compliance requirements. You will develop and maintain a skills matrix register of the council’s workforce by undertaking a skills‑based audit to forecast training needs, administer the educational assistance program and manage training budgets in consultation with the Manager Corporate Services and the Workforce Support Coordinator. About You We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate IV in Human Resources or a related discipline, has extensive experience (minimum of five years) in a similar training administration role, and holds a current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence. You will have the following skills and experience: Evaluate and report on innovative methodologies, with a focus on delivering flexible online training resources. Apply sound analytical skills to produce high‑quality, accurate reports. Exhibit strong organisational and planning capabilities, including meeting deadlines, adapting to changing priorities, achieving objectives and delivering program targets. Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, underpinned by a strong customer service focus. Benefits This is a permanent, full‑time position working 35 hours per week. The total remuneration package commences at $83,725.82 gross per annum, comprising: $1,437.60 per week base salary $172.51 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%) Additional benefits for this position include: Rostered day off scheme (nine‑day fortnight) Annual award salary increases and performance reviews Salary packaging programme (SmartSalary) Well‑being initiatives – Fitness Passport, Employee Assistance Programme, Telus Health App, social club, health monitoring and annual flu vaccinations.
