Program Leader (P-12 - Inclusive Education) - Assisi Catholic College, Upper Coomera Assisi Catholic College is a co‑educational P‑12 school dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment. This role focuses on leading inclusive education initiatives across all year levels. The Middle Leader component will be reviewed at the close of the current triennium (December 2026). In This Position You Will Be Responsible For Lead the designated program in the school. Supervise teachers engaged in the program throughout the school. Induct new teachers within the program (or supervise the induction where it is undertaken by another experienced teacher). Monitor program outcomes for students and address areas of concern through appropriate interventions. Coordinate the work of staff engaged in delivering the designated program in the light of the values and ethos of the school. Regularly communicate with stakeholders (students, parents, school staff and other personnel) to ensure the smooth operation of the program. Organise program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff, etc. Keep abreast of best practice in the program area through on‑going professional reading and research and providing for the professional learning of staff in line with these developments. Contribute to the leadership of the school through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings. Manage financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including the formulation of budgets and the expenditure of allocated funds. Lead P‑12 inclusive education initiatives, processes and compliance requirements. Provide targeted in‑class support and intervention for secondary students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate with teachers, families and allied health professionals to enhance student outcomes. Coordinate case management, team meetings, and support plans for students with complex needs. About You Eligibility to work within Australia for the period of appointment. Strong secondary school experience in Support Teaching: Inclusive Education (ST:IE) with proven student impact. Able to lead, mentor, and support staff in inclusive teaching practices across P‑12. Strong knowledge of inclusive education frameworks and legislative requirements. Strong organisational skills to coordinate program logistics, resources, and operations. Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, staff, and external partners. Capacity to build and maintain partnerships with external organisations to enhance program outcomes. Commitment to the values and ethos of the school in all aspects of program leadership. Ability to lead professional learning aligned with current best practices and research. Active contribution to school leadership through participation in staff and leadership meetings.
