Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Better Staff Network & Security Engineer Melbourne Permanent - Full time Managed Service Provider looking for a Network & Security Engineer with solid experience across networking, firewalls, Windows, cloud, and server infrastructure. You’ll work on a mix of projects and BAU, delivering solutions across modern on‑prem and cloud environments. What You’ll Do Deliver infrastructure, cloud, and security projects end‑to‑end. Handle BAU support, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, and maintenance. Install, configure, and rack servers; deploy OS and core services. Support presales with scoping, solution design, and SOW input. Provide post‑implementation support and documentation. What You Need 5+ years L2/L3 experience in an MSP or similar environment. Strong networking & security skills (Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba). Solid understanding of AD, DNS, cloud networking, Azure/M365. Hands‑on experience with VMware/Hyper‑V, Windows Server, Linux. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and client communication skills. Nice to Have Certifications (NSE, CCNA/CCNP). ITIL exposure and experience with RMM/PSA tools.
