See what it’s like to work with us here About the Role The Senior Associate (Performance) will develop, manage, and undertake business improvement, budget, revenue and performance programs, activities and services for the Hospitality and Racing division, including governance, financial management, issue tracking, quality control and post‑analysis and reporting. The role provides advice and works collaboratively with stakeholders to determine appropriate outcomes and priorities. Working closely with (and reporting to) the Associate Director (Strategy, Delivery & Performance), you will be responsible for: Developing and managing programs to enhance business operations. Implementing governance and risk frameworks. Establishing performance measures and reporting standards whilst tracking and reporting on progress. Monitoring complex program and grants budgets and devising novel solutions to maximise performance. Analysing data for informed decision‑making. Ensuring sustainability of programs and compliance with legal and governance requirements. Conducting research and providing recommendations and accurate and timely reports. What we are looking for: Strong knowledge of the hospitality and racing sectors, including its regulatory frameworks, legislation and revenue and grants programs. Ability to manage interdependencies. Balancing competing demands to achieve program objectives. Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to conduct consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders within agreed timelines, considering varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests. Very strong customer service skills – the Group’s senior executive leadership team are the customers for this role; accuracy and responsiveness are key delivery behaviours we are seeking. Essential requirements: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience. Commerce qualifications and CPA highly regarded. Public sector experience, preferably in business improvement, budget, revenue and performance disciplines. Appointment and ongoing assignment are subject to satisfactorily meeting pre‑employment and ongoing probity screening to meet the integrity standards set out in section 14 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007.
