Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa. We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our high achieving Housekeeping Team. You will be responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper with directing and overseeing all housekeeping staff. Responsibilities Prepare and complete allocations for Room Attendants, Supervisors and Housepersons in preparation of daily tasks. Leadership skills: Lead the team, drive performance and productivity. Cover various areas including Commercial Laundry, Valet/Uniforms, Public Areas and Housekeeping Supervisor duties when needed. Responsibility for all rooms and ensuring consistency in presentation, room inventory and staff performance. Control stock levels for distribution. Ability to maintain the standard operating procedures within there department and in accordance with the Resort and Guest needs. Monitor the team and support at all times to ensure that the CBCR standard is kept in every room. Qualifications Previous supervisory/managerial experience in a commercial cleaning environment. Excellent communication skills. The ability to work weekends and public holidays. Previous experience in a similar Resort or Hotel environment will be highly regarded.
