Position Summary Title: Senior Occupational Therapist Position No: Level / Salary: HSO Level P2 $122,597 - $130,265 pro rata Work Type: Fixed Term – Part Time, Permanent – Full Time Unit / Directorate: North Metropolitan Mental Health Service Location: Mirrabooka / Wanneroo Closing Date: 4:00 PM Position Details Permanent Full‑Time (Stirling Community Adult Mental Health Service) – Advanced clinical and recovery‑focused care in a Clinical Treatment Team. Provides mental health care for consumers and carers from diverse multicultural backgrounds, co‑occurring conditions, and a range of accommodation and service provider engagement. Fixed‑Term Part‑Time (Wanneroo Active Recovery Team) – Short‑term clinical case management within a psychosocial recovery model in an innovative colocation partnership with NGO Luma. Position until 8 September 2026, with possibility of extension and/or permanency. Responsibilities Function as a case manager undertaking clinical assessment of an allocated caseload of consumers with a mental illness. Provide advanced occupational therapy services to consumers of the Community Mental Health Service. A short cover letter demonstrating advanced occupational therapy practice in a community mental health setting, outlining leadership and communication skills, and indicating the position(s) applied for. The names and contact details of two referees (preferably a recent supervisor); referees must be available to provide references when requested. Eligibility to Apply Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for permanent positions in the public sector. For fixed‑term positions, evidence of the entitlement to live and work in Australia for the contract period is required.
