Project Manager Join Manningham Council as a Project Manager and deliver civil projects, including shared paths, bus shelters, drainage, recreation facilities, and floodlighting. Base pay range A$98,436.00/yr – A$107,293.00/yr Full time permanent position; salary $98k – $107k (based on skill and experience) + 12% Superannuation; Location: Doncaster East Depot. About The Role This position manages construction contracts for Manningham, from tendering and contractor selection to ongoing project management, ensuring safe and timely delivery that meets design and community needs. Responsibilities • Procure and manage diverse infrastructure projects (shared paths, bus shelters, drainage, recreation facilities, floodlighting). • Tender, assess, and select suitable contractors. • Undertake ongoing project management to build works safely and to high standards. • Adapt to changing conditions (weather, politics, soil, etc.) to ensure delivery. Qualifications & Experience Equivalent of a Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (registration as an Engineer highly favoured) with at least five years’ experience in construction supervision of civil projects. Ability to design, review, and manage the design of civil projects. Strong project delivery skills: economical planning, implementation, and supervision in compliance with contract, Council requirements, industry standards, and legislation. Collaborative and knowledge‑sharing mindset. Problem‑solving skills to resolve complex operational and service delivery issues. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Civil Site Design is an advantage (not essential). Desirable understanding of environmentally sustainable design. Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
