About the role The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for the related to the repair, modification and manufacture of equipment. Key Responsibilities Effective provision of mechanical fitting for the repairs, maintenance and upgrades to Overall Forge’s plant and equipment. Be competent in the use of Turning Lathes, Milling Machines, grinders and any machine used to repair or manufacture replacement items. Complete all required documentation. Manufacture and or repair of plant equipment Work in a safe and methodical manner Maintain a clean work environment. Assist related trades and departments as required. Ability to carry out mechanical and general repairs under limited supervision. Assist with the training of Apprentices and others. Mechanical and weld repairs when required. Undertake preventative maintenance tasks. Comply with PCC Ethics code of conduct. Adhere to company policies and procedures including Quality and Safety Cardinal Rules. Other duties within skills, knowledge and abilities. Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years practical experience in a related field of mechanical fitting. Confined Space ticket EWP advantageous Benefits and Perks A Quarterly cash bonus is available for eligible employees, subject to performance targets being met.
