We are on the lookout for an experienced Production Area Leader to join our Afternoon Shift team in Morley, WA. About the role: As a Production Area Leader, you will play a key role in directing and coordinating the daily operations of our production team. You will be responsible for: Leading and mentoring team members to achieve production targets and quality standards. Overseeing preparation, production, and packing processes, including machine start-up, shutdown, and changeovers. Monitoring KPIs such as production efficiency, yield, quality, and waste. Ensuring adherence to safe work practices and maintaining a positive team culture. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Despatch and Warehouse. Supporting rostering, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. About you: You are a confident and proactive leader with strong technical and people management skills. You will bring: Previous supervisory or team leader experience, ideally in food manufacturing. Technical knowledge to operate machinery, troubleshoot, and perform small repairs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and train staff. Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills. Basic computer literacy, including MS Excel. What’s in it for you?
