Led by a partner with over 20 years’ experience, the firm’s size enables it to manage complex financial situations for both businesses and individuals, while ensuring tailored solutions and a personal approach that reduces stress for clients in when facing challenging circumstances. They are now seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in insolvency or restructuring who is enthusiastic about joining a firm on a growth journey. This is a rare opportunity, most of the team have been with the firm for over 3 years, which is impressive for an organisation established in 2020. Responsibilities Lead insolvency appointments across liquidations, voluntary administrations, receiverships, restructurings and bankruptcies. Prepare statutory reports to creditors and ASIC, including s533 reports, ensuring full compliance. Analyse corporate financial affairs and drive recovery actions through thorough investigation of company records. Investigate insolvent trading, voidable transactions and officer offences, managing outcomes effectively. Oversee trade-on operations, including budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. Manage asset and business sales, including real property and equipment, collaborating with advisors and stakeholders. Mentor junior staff, providing guidance, delegation and performance feedback. Qualifications Be CA / CPA / ARITA qualified or currently undertaking. Hold a relevant degree. Have 2–3 years’ experience in a reputable firm. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be passionate about mentoring and developing junior team members.
