About the Role
As a Regulatory Engagement Analyst, you are responsible for supporting Customer Migration Portfolio fulfil their responsibilities in respect to risk. In particular, supporting engagement with Regulators and increase awareness and management of prudential requirements within the portfolio.
Key accountabilities will include:
Support the development of regulatory engagement & submission materials for Customer Migration (e.g. APRA, ASIC)
Co-ordinating work across Customer Migration to ensure consistent delivery to prudential requirements by design, providing confidence to ANZ and its regulators
Ensuring the robust governance of Customer Migration progress against prudential targets
Developing a strong understanding across Customer Migration of prudential requirements and priorities, in particular, as they relate to conduct and data risk
Being a key member of a multidisciplinary risk enablement team who think about risk and compliance differently, provide simple risk solutions, and are trusted partners of Customer Migration.

What will your day look like?
As a Regulatory Engagement Analyst, you will be accountable for:
Support the co-ordination and execution of prudential approaches across Customer Migration, and support the Regulatory Engagement Lead in developing and executing the overall regulatory engagement approach.
Bringing creativity and challenging what’s possible whilst keeping the safety and financial wellbeing of our customers at our core
Embedding prudential awareness and mature risk management practices into the Customer Migration streams.
Support the creation of governance & process around regulatory engagement & submission
Working with value stream leads to gather the required evidence, documentation, processes to support regulatory engagement & submission
Reporting on progress of prudential approaches and managing upstream and downstream impacts of delays, issues and dependencies
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong governance and stakeholder management skills with an ability to help identify and influence pragmatic but sustainable outcomes
Awareness of prudential requirements and the risks and laws that apply as Customer Migration delivers (governance, compliance, risk or legal experience preferred)
A track record and passion for driving the efficiency, effectiveness and continuous improvement of company policies and practices
Strategic thinking coupled with strong execution and delivery focus
Sound working knowledge of operating risk management and regulatory/legislative compliance principles and practices
