About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader / educator to join our College as the Director of Inclusion. This key leadership position (Position of Responsibility - POR 4) is responsible for shaping and supporting inclusive education. As a senior leader, you will lead a dedicated team, collaborate with staff and families, and ensure every student, regardless of ability or background, can access, engage with and excel in their learning. Key Responsibilities Lead and encourage the Inclusive Education team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Oversee the development, implementation, and review of differentiated and adapted educational programs for students with disabilities and specific learning needs. Support teachers in planning and delivering curriculum adjustments and be an active presence in classrooms to model best practice. Build strong partnerships with families, allied health professionals, and external agencies to support student wellbeing and learning pathways. Champion the College's commitment to inclusion, ensuring all students are empowered to become independent, responsible, lifelong learners. Manage curriculum documentation, data collection (including NCCD), and resources for Inclusive Education. Drive professional learning and development for staff around inclusive education. What we are Looking For A dynamic educator with proven leadership experience in inclusive education. Senior leadership position experience is required to demonstrate proven leadership experience in inclusive education. Deep commitment to Catholic and Josephite values, and a passion for fostering a welcoming, diverse, and supportive community. Proven ability leading teams, build relationships, and advocate for students with diverse needs. Highly developed communication, organisational and people skills. Experience in curriculum development, data analysis, and supporting staff professional growth. Registration as a teacher in South Australia (or eligibility to obtain). Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; postgraduate qualification in Special Education or Inclusive Education highly regarded. Current Working with Children Check, RRHAN-EC training, and First Aid Certificate.
