This opportunity stands out as you will also get exposure delivering IPAR’s innovative services including our pain education program Re-thinking Recovery. This program centers around using virtual reality and modern pain science to help people understand pain and re-train their brain and body. Re-thinking Recovery is used in collaboration with a client’s current healthcare approach and will involve engagement with the entire treating team to ensure the service is focused on the client. Responsibilities Case management (caseloads are manageable, and Rehabilitation Assistants provide support to alleviate administrative tasks) Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes and partner with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals Complete a variety of assessments using clinical and discipline-specific skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments Deliver the Re-thinking Recovery virtual reality pain education program Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy Full Professional Registration with AHPRA Excellent communication and time management skills Compassion and empathy A current valid Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance Additional Information Every day, we seek better together for our clients, our customers, our community and each other.
