Role As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant, you will apply your clinical reasoning skills to support ADF personnel who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury. Responsibilities Taking a holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans. What will make you successful Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA or AASW) Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work Australian Citizenship Strong clinical reasoning Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal Passion to help people rehabilitate Occupational rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded Working arrangements Set working hours means you can truly have WORK / LIFE balance – no overtime, no outside of work hours work. Enjoy early starts and early finishes: 7:30am – 3:30pm working on base at ACT Health Centre at Duntroon. Part-Time options (from 3 days) may be considered. If you prefer some flexibility in your day, we have options for hybrid work arrangements.
