Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting construction activity within a dynamic project team? We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our multi-disciplined team, led by the Project Manager, for the delivery of the Capital components of our project. How You’ll Add Value As a Structural/Civil Engineer, your contribution is essential to our ongoing success. In your role, you will be providing expert technical knowledge in civil and structural engineering design, project management, and general support to asset teams, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Your strong grasp of relevant Australian Standards and international standards related to materials and structural design will be a cornerstone of your work. You will meticulously apply engineering standards and safety processes to uphold the highest safety and quality standards. Moreover, you will foster a collaborative work culture within the operations structural team, one that prioritises diligence, quality, competence, and cooperation. Key Role Objectives Technical Expertise: As a Structural/Civil Engineer, you will bring your formidable civil/structural engineering skills and knowledge to the table, designing and executing related projects with precision. You will play a vital role in sharing critical technical information related to projects under your purview with fellow engineers and plant-based technical officers. Required Qualifications And Experience A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent, forms the academic foundation of your expertise. You possess a proficient understanding of the application of structural engineering standards, including AS4100, AS3600, and AS/NZS 1170 series. Furthermore, your strong commitment to health and safety, exemplified by a proven safety record, sets you apart as a responsible and conscientious professional. Your proficiency in using Space Gass for structural analysis is an asset that enhances your ability to contribute effectively to our projects. Additionally, your expertise in the design and remediation of concrete structures, including foundations, further solidifies your standing as a sought-after professional in your field. You will Act with a customer-centric mindset, consistently striving to meet the needs of our clients. You highly value diverse perspectives and appreciate the input of others. Taking ownership of your performance and driving continuous improvement is a core aspect of your professional ethos.
