Maintenance Fitter FMCG Manufacturing (Food) Afternoon Shift 2pm - 10pm $50phr + 15% Shift loading + OT + Super Blacktown We are partnering with a growing FMCG manufacturer operating a brand-new, state-of-the-art production facility , and they are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their afternoon shift team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern food manufacturing environment with new equipment , strong leadership, and genuine long-term progression opportunities as the site continues to expand. The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault-finding and continuous improvement of food processing and packaging equipment across the site. Key responsibilities include: Preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance Mechanical fault-finding on high-speed production equipment Supporting production to minimise downtime Assisting with equipment upgrades, installs and improvements Ensuring compliance with food safety, GMP and WHS standards Equipment You’ll Be Working On Multivac & Cryovac packaging machines Food processing and preparation equipment Conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and drives High-speed packaging and handling systems Shift & Pay Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm $50 per hour + 15% shift loading + Super Overtime available Free lunch provided daily Heavily discounted company products About You Trade qualified Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter Previous experience in FMCG or food manufacturing highly regarded Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Safety-focused with a proactive attitude What’s On Offer Brand-new site with modern equipment Stable, full-time opportunity with consistent hours Supportive maintenance team and strong site leadership Real career development and progression pathways Excellent culture and employee benefits How to Apply If you’re a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for a long-term career move with outstanding growth potential, I’d love to hear from you.
