We're seeking an experienced and dependable Senior Payroll Officer to join their supportive, fast paced team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, autonomy and taking ownership of high volume, end to end payroll operations. Based at either Ballarat (Wendouree) or Derrimut, you'll manage the weekly payroll for more than 200 employees across multiple sites and rosters, keeping Australia's biggest infrastructure projects moving behind the scenes. About Advanced Cranes With over 20 years in the industry, Advanced Cranes has built a strong reputation for safety, reliability and performance. Their modern fleet ranges from 3t to over 800t cranes, servicing Tier 1 projects across both public and private sectors. Key Responsibilities Manage high volume, full function weekly payroll for 200+ staff across multiple sites and rosters Interpret EBAs, awards and Fair Work requirements Process PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and EOFY compliance Maintain accurate employee data and process starters, leavers and variations Reconcile payroll accounts and provide regular reporting to finance Respond to payroll and entitlement queries with clarity and professionalism Support improvements to payroll systems and processes as the business continues to grow What You'll Need Minimum 3 years' experience in an end to end, high volume payroll role Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and STP Experience with LeavePlus and Incolink highly regarded Excellent attention to detail and strong system/Excel skills Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams Strong communication, confidentiality and problem solving skills Experience in construction, civil or similar industrial environments preferred What's on Offer Attractive salary, commensurate with experience Autonomy in a high paced and dynamic team environment Opportunity to shape payroll systems and processes in a growing national business How to Apply If you're a confident Senior Payroll Officer ready to take the next step with a respected, people-focused company then we'd love to hear from you.
