Our Originations Architecture team is dedicated to designing and delivering innovative digital solutions that enable seamless onboarding of new customers and products. As an Architect within our Originations team, you will lead the design and implementation of large-scale digital banking projects, ensuring technical excellence from concept through to delivery. You will work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into efficient, secure, and scalable solutions, guiding the team to own outcomes end-to-end. Your role will include shaping our future-state architecture to accelerate and automate originations processes, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting best practices across engineering and architecture. You will also engage with stakeholders to influence technology strategy and maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging digital trends. What you offer Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing digital financial service solutions, with a strong background in software engineering and team leadership Proficiency in cloud-based integration and API strategies, along with experience in optimising technology infrastructure for performance and scalability Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior business and technology stakeholders, and to guide teams in adopting modern engineering practices Understanding of solution and data architecture frameworks, modelling tools, and data security principles, with experience in architecture assurance and escalation processes Background in Financial Services or FinTech is highly valued, though we welcome candidates with experience from other consumer-facing industries.
