Reporting into the manager, you will help service fire alarm systems on site. The Electrical Technician will be servicing, testing and/or programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems and associated equipment on our clients’ sites. You will contribute by:* Surveying customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.* Identify, test, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.* Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including Field Services handheld technology.* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.**About You*** Experience working as an Electrical Technician in the Fire Protection industry* Current Electrical licence* Unrestricted work rights* Current Driver’s licence* Current Cabling licence* Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.* Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.* A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment* A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation is ideal, but not mandatory* EAHL is ideal, but not mandatory* Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base* Adhoc FIFO opportunity for projects / maintenance**What we will offer you:*** Excellent remuneration package as per the EBA - rates of pay, full maintained company vehicle, mobile* Planning and support for progression towards any role within Chubb* Opportunity to work on a range of fire panels and a variety of customer sites* Working for a global organisation which brings job stability and where you are treated like family* Great team and branch culture* Access to People Matters - an employee discount platform with access to hundreds of discounts from health, groceries, electronics and moreApply now to see where Chubb can take your career.
