Location: Ballarat, VIC, Australia Employment Type: Permanent Closing Date: Nov 10 2025 Pastoral Care Practitioner - Calvary Kelaston, Wendouree VIC Help shape the provision of spiritual and pastoral care of residents, families and staff at Calvary aged care, ensuring their diverse spiritual needs are identified and responded to with exceptional sensitivity, compassion, knowledge and skill. Responsibilities Providing spiritual care support to residents according to triage priorities. As required, providing spiritual care support to residents’ family members and to staff. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. About You You are a highly engaged professional practitioner, seeking to uphold the dignity of people living in residential aged care and seeking to make a meaningful contribution to their wellbeing. Qualifications A tertiary qualification in pastoral care, spiritual direction, counselling or similar. Clinical Pastoral Education and/or equivalent. Recent experience working in a similar role in aged care, health care or community care. Established skills in preparation, creation, leadership and facilitation of meaningful rituals.
