We have three offices across Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. The role The HR Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Human Resources team. No day is ever the same in our team, so we are looking for a team member who is detail‑oriented, hands‑on, organised, eager to learn and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating administrative processes across the employee lifecycle and providing support to HR processes/projects. This is a unique opportunity to join a close‑knit, hands‑on and genuinely collaborative HR team, with access to on‑the‑job training and mentoring from experienced HR professionals. You will be responsible for: Maintaining accurate employee records and administering HR systems Coordinating the onboarding and off‑boarding process and logistics end to end – including induction schedules and system access/training Supporting the recruitment process, including posting job ads, shortlisting, candidate management, scheduling interviews, and administering pre‑employment checks Supporting the graduate and internship programs, including recruitment support, organising promotional items, careers fairs and providing on‑the‑ground support during induction weeks Supporting University actuarial student society engagement and event planning Updating courses, training materials and managing compliance tracking in our learning system Tracking study progress and coordinating study‑related reminders, with the intention to develop into managing the study process Drafting employment contracts and employee letters as well as other HR documents and correspondence Maintaining and documenting records for employee changes and activity including probation reviews Supporting the employee lifecycle and HR projects throughout the year, including the firm’s feedback, remuneration and recognition processes and learning and development initiatives Maintaining and updating policies Providing support to the HR team and business, as required Managing our careers enquiries and monitoring shared inboxes To be successful for this role you will have: Completed qualifications in Human Resources (Desirable) Exceptional administration and organisation skills Excellent verbal and written communication Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic and proactive approach to work Initiative and sound judgment when approaching new or evolving situations, seeking guidance when needed A positive attitude and a strong team player – we are a small team, so you can expect to be involved in a wide range of projects Learn More If this sounds like the right role for you, we'd love to hear from you Apply Now #J-18808-Ljbffr
