Assistant Manager - Market City FOOT LOCKER – Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Salary: A$115,000.00–A$130,000.00 Overview You will lead a team to deliver an outstanding in‑store customer experience. Your responsibilities cover store operations, training, employee management, visual merchandising, asset protection, and all aspects that drive sales and maximize profit for the store. In the absence of the Store Manager you will assume all managerial duties and will be evaluated on driving sales and meeting profit goals. Responsibilities Coaching and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about all products and collaborating with colleagues to provide excellent sales service. Delivering on sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations. Act as a partner between customers, sales associates, and store leadership. Learn and share expertise on products and trends to meet customer needs. Maintain awareness of all product knowledge, current and upcoming products/trends. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing sales setting. Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience. Motivated to achieve great results through enthusiasm for interacting with customers and athletic products. Resourceful and versatile in responding to changing demands in a rapidly evolving omni‑channel retail environment. Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision. Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis. High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
