Senior CG Layout Artist - Flying Bark Productions Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series, Stranger Things animated series, and our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan. Please note: this is an expression of interest for upcoming roles in 2026. As a Senior Layout Artist, you will work closely with your supervisor, enjoying creative freedom and actively participating in storytelling through cinematography while maintaining workflow flow. Qualifications Minimum requirement of 6+ years production experience in 3D animated films and/or animated episodic. Strong sense of composition, cinematic camera work, animation timing and narrative storytelling. Experience and understanding of Maya in a production-based environment. Knowledge of layout workflows, live action and CG camera lens information, camera rigs and cinematography. Ability to consistently meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and willingness to share information in a team environment. Ability to take direction and be flexible and responsive to change. Ability to work independently as well as under direct supervision. Enthusiasm and passion for animation, cameras and cinematography.
