About the Role Canterbury Hospital is a metropolitan acute general hospital located in the exciting Canterbury Bankstown Local Government Area which is one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse areas in the Greater Sydney region and world-renowned. Canterbury Hospital Casual Pool offers emergency medicine, general surgery and medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, aged care, rehabilitation, palliative care and outpatient services. The Enrolled Nurse works under the guidance of Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council National Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse (EN) in collaboration with Registered Nurses (RN), multidisciplinary team and others to provide safe, compassionate, person centred care. You will provide evidence informed nursing care promoting identified health outcomes. The Enrolled Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Current enrolment with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an EN with medication endorsement, including oral and intravenous competencies. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups.
