We're have multiple opportunities to join our team as Housing Officer on a fixed-term contract to September 2026, with a view to permanent opportunities. You’ll be responsible for providing essential, person‑centered services to people in housing need. This is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to ensure everyone has a safe, secure, and affordable place to call home. What You'll Be Doing As a Housing Officer, you'll be a key part of our Tenancy team, managing a portfolio of properties across the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions. You’ll be the main point of contact for our tenants, using your expertise to build strong relationships and provide clear, fair guidance. Though no two days are the same in Tenancy, here’s a little of what you can expect: Preparing and signing tenancy agreements, handling property condition reports, and processing bonds to ensure a smooth start for our new residents. Proactively addressing tenant issues, conducting routine property inspections, and collaborating with our Support and Assets teams to deliver the best possible service. Managing rent arrears, mediating tenant and neighbour complaints, and representing Pacific Link Housing at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) when needed. Using your knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and our policies to provide transparent information, helping tenants make informed decisions to sustain their tenancies. What You'll Bring to the Team We believe the right person for this role is someone who is a great communicator, highly organised, and committed to making a difference. To thrive in this role, you’ll need: A solid understanding of property / tenancy management is advantageous. Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life. You’ll be well versed in applying legislation, policy and guidelines in real world scenarios. You work well under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment, where you need to manage competing priorities and demands. The ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. A professional and positive attitude, representing Pacific Link Housing with pride. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). A current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across our footprint including our head office in Gosford regularly.
