Non-Destructive Testing Technician (Trainee and Qualified positions available) Do you have mining experience or experience as a tradesperson and are looking for a change? Join our highly collaborative and dynamic team delivering exceptional reliability engineering solutions to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley Region About the Role Noble Engineering Services (NES) are growing, and we have opportunities for experienced Technicians and/or Trainees to join our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team based out of our Head Office in Beresfield, near Newcastle, NSW. Along with providing quality customer service, you'll be responsible for the coordination and planning of NDT inspections at specific sites including mine sites and workshops, and delivering exceptional report writing and in‑depth analysis of reported data. Responsibilities & Qualifications Ideally, you will have: Qualifications/Certifications in NDT methods with minimum Level 2 in Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant, Phased Array or Eddy Current (Australian Institute for Non‑Destructive Testing certification preferred but not essential). Experience and knowledge of industrial and mining environment, service sector, maintenance and/or overhaul experience. Analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail and well‑developed written and verbal communication skills. Must have a current, unrestricted Driver’s License. We also have options to facilitate NDT Trainee and Junior opportunities. These opportunities are permanent, full‑time roles based at our head office located in Beresfield NSW. This will require someone with flexibility to travel across the Hunter and other parts of Regional NSW as needed.
