Team Leader - Waste and Resource Recovery Join to apply for the Team Leader - Waste and Resource Recovery role at Manningham Council Base pay range A$110,000.00/yr - A$123,000.00/yr Fixed Term – Full time position – 12 months Band 7: Circa $110k - $123k + 12% Superannuation Based in Doncaster East Exciting opportunity for a highly experienced customer focussed professional to join our positive and friendly team. Responsible for delivering waste services across the municipality we are looking for someone who will lead our team, has outstanding customer service skills, knowledge in contract management and can identify and deal with complex problems. About The Role Our Waste and Resource Recovery Team is looking for an experienced, customer focused professional to lead our administration team, manage contracts, and support community education initiatives in the effective delivery of Waste Management and Litter Services. In this role, you will oversee the day to day operations of the Waste and Resource Recovery Team, including waste management functions, dumped litter and waste, education programs, and ensuring contractual performance measures and reporting requirements are met. You will use your exceptional communication skills to inspire and guide the team in developing and delivering innovative programs that reduce waste, increase recycling, and minimise contamination. Skills And Experience Tertiary qualified or extensive work experience in a relevant field Highly experienced leader of a customer focused team delivering integrated resource recovery, waste management and sustainability services to the community Able to develop and deliver work programs and systems that successfully deliver commitments in waste reforms, climate action and service delivery of kerbside and litter services to meet the needs of the community Flexible to respond to changing priorities and able to complete tasks within tight timeframes A problem solver, able to resolve complex operational and service delivery issues to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders A negotiator, able to influence outcomes to achieve organisational objectives Knowledgeable in government, and local government organisations A problem solver who can assist with resolving complex operational and service delivery issues Highly proficient user of MS Office Suite, data management software, customer service request systems.
