The Opportunity We’re looking for 2 casual Step‑up Operations Controller / Bus Drivers at our High Wycombe depot. In this unique dual role you’ll gain valuable experience and insight into depot operations as you learn what it takes to become an Operations Controller, all while keeping your driving skills sharp. Keep services running smoothly by supporting daily operational activities such as compliance monitoring, rostering, reporting and driver liaison. Work closely with the Manager to help deliver business plans and achieve strategic goals. Coordinate and execute transport services including school runs, route services, charters and special events. Build strong relationships with Operations Controllers, Drivers, internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure high‑quality service delivery. Manage staff resources by maintaining driver rosters and allocations using business operating systems. Drive buses safely and professionally, achieving high standards in all aspects of your work. The boxes you’ll tick We are people‑focused individuals with a customer‑first attitude and therefore we are looking for with : Previous experience in transport logistics or operations is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided. Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public. A current Medium Rigid (MR) driving licence or above. A current PTD accreditation and Working with Children Check (or the willingness to obtain them). Experience and knowledge of the Perth Metro area. Current First Aid Certificate is preferred or willingness to obtain. Be able to pass a pre‑employment physical examination and medical history check. Australian Work Rights. Intermediate computer literacy with the ability to navigate integrated software systems (experience with TIMS Consat and Coach Manager is highly regarded).
