Field Service Technician - Mobility and Rehabilitation Equipment Join Active Mobility Services Pty Ltd as a Field Service Technician and help empower people with mobility needs to live independently. Based in Warana QLD on the Sunshine Coast, this full‑time role is ideal for someone with technical experience and a passion for customer service. You'll play a hands‑on role in keeping essential mobility equipment, including power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, patient hoists and other assistive technology devises, operating safely and reliably—equipment that directly supports people's everyday lives. What You’ll Be Doing Perform on‑site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of mobility and rehabilitation equipment in the Sunshine Coast area and environs. Must hold a current Australian driver’s licence (P2 licence acceptable). Physical ability to lift equipment up to 20kg is required. Deliver first‑class customer service—listen to client needs and communicate clearly about solutions. Accurately maintain service records, report on parts usage, and flag any equipment issues. Work closely with our scheduling and support teams to ensure efficient service delivery. Contribute ideas to improve our service processes and support continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For Qualifications or hands‑on experience in electromechanical servicing or similar fields. Minimum 1–2 years of electromechanical experience required if no formal qualification. Prior experience with mobility or medical equipment is an advantage. Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities. A friendly, professional approach to customer service. Commitment to safety and working to best practice standards. Comfortable working solo in the field and also as part of a collaborative team. Proficiency with tools, equipment, and diagnostic software. Australian citizenship or permanent residency required. Must have or be willing to obtain NDIS Yellow and Working with Children’s Blue Cards. What We Offer Competitive salary plus an attractive bonus structure.
