The Asset Finance Shop is a leading commercial finance brokerage for SME businesses, providing a wide range of financial solutions to manage cash flow and support growth. The company was established in 2016 and has financed over $250 million for Australian Businesses. About the Role As a Sales Support / Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our brokers and clients throughout the lending process. You’ll assist with deal preparation, manage broker and client communications, and help identify opportunities for cross‑selling and relationship growth. This role offers hands‑on experience in the asset finance and fintech space, with full training provided for the right candidate. You’ll learn how to quote, structure deals, and understand the full lending lifecycle while working closely with senior management and industry experts. Key Responsibilities Support brokers and senior management with deal preparation and pipeline management. Prepare and reverse‑engineer quotes using our lending partner tools and internal pricing sheets. Conduct full client discovery and assess asset, ABN, and financial profiles. Manage customer documentation (including bank statements, BAS, ATO portals, tax invoices, and private sale paperwork). Provide daily updates to brokers and ensure deals progress efficiently through HubSpot. Handle client and broker communications with professionalism and attention to detail. Manage sales from leads through to settlements. Assist with cross‑sell opportunities and post‑settlement follow‑ups. Maintain accurate notes and ensure compliance across all files. What We’re Looking For A proactive, detail‑oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A team player with a genuine interest in lending, finance, or the broader fintech space. Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with clients and brokers. Experience in asset or commercial finance is advantageous, but full training will be provided. A qualification (or progress toward one) in Finance, Commerce, or Business is preferred.
